After graduating from high school, Godfrey moved to Paris, where he attended the Paris Fashion Institute. This relocation altered his life forever. He interned with Erik Mortensen, from Pierre Balmain.
After returning from Paris his first job was working for Burdines as a fashion coordinator in Florida, including Miami. He learned to produce fashion shows & to organize celebrity & designer personal appearances. After 8 years, he moved to Neiman Marcus, then Saks Fifth Avenue came knocking at his door & offered him the opportunity to become the Fashion Director for their Miami store. Although Florida is his hometown, during his ten years with Saks, Godfrey traveled all over Central & South America.
Caras Magazine (South America) named him “The Man Behind the Gr&est Runway Shows in Fashion”. Being a stylist in Miami offers many fashion opportunities.
