United States of America (Press Release) December 21, 2007 --
MINNEAPOLIS, MINN.—A lot of home shows tout “green living,” and offer ideas for sustainable living. The Home Improvement and Design Expo takes “green” a bit further and actually shows homeowners how to live green.
Scheduled for March 29-30, 2008 at Canterbury Park, Shakopee, “The Home Improvement and Design Expo is for people who are serious about making improvements to their homes,” says “Magic Brad” Gudim, one-half of the event marketing duo known as "The Expo Guys." “We’ve found, through past shows, that they’re also serious about making improvements without damaging their families’ health. That’s where the ‘green’ issues really hit home.”
The Expo will feature free speaker presentations, demonstrations and live entertainment as well as provide opportunities for homeowners to consult with architects, builders, remodelers, landscapers and leaders in the green building movement. Each day, the first 50 people who visit the exhibit will receive a door buster goodie bag. Door prizes will be awarded throughout the day.
Admission to the event is $6 at the door. Hours are 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. March 29, and 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. March 30. Canterbury Park is located at 1100 Canterbury Road, Shakopee.
