United States of America (Press Release) December 26, 2007 --
Surfing the web after her baby was born, Anya Hartzog was frustrated by the lack of baby websites for hip, creative moms. She liked Martha Stewart’s concept but found it too traditional and uptight. Others read like Redbook or Women’s Day magazine: lumping all moms into the minivan driving, “soccer mom” category.
So she created OurLittlePeapod.com for the moms who love good design, hip baby clothing and creative D.I.Y. craft projects. A nine year background in the fashion industry combined with a passion for graphic design is reflected in the styling of the website. Editorials are paired with hand-painted illustrations in a modern graphic layout. Feature articles include: “Pimp Your Baby’s Ride” (Peanut Shell Baby Slings), “Dude Where’s My Blankie?” (Blankets by Angel Dear) and “Tiny Dancer” (Making baby sized tutus).
