United States of America (Press Release) December 27, 2007 --
Everyone asks what are your New Year’s Resolutions, but the real question you should be asking yourself is, what do you want for your life? Do you want a better home, a new car, a loving relationship, fire your boss?
So, what do you want? Have you written it down? Write down what you would really like. Be very specific. You need to be able to visualize it.
Ok, now that you have written it down. I want you to think of how it will feel once you have accomplished that goal. I want to take the time to FEEL it. Write down how it feels. How will you benefit once you have accomplished that goal? Write it down.
Get a picture of what it is you want. With the Internet, you can get any picture you want. Print out that picture. Put those pictures around where you will see them, on your bathroom mirror, on your computer monitor, on your refrigerator, on your nightstand. The more you think about what you want, the faster it will become part of your reality.
Now here is something that most people won’t tell you to do. You know that there will be obstacles to your goals. Write down any obstacles that you think that you may come across. Now, write down 3 – 5 different solutions to each of those obstacles. Think hard and outside the box. The main obstacle to most things is money, mainly lack of money. Have you thought of some solutions? You could have a yard sale; you can go over your monthly bills and see where you can shave off some costs. You could brown bag your lunch instead of buying. You can start a home-based business.
Let me ask you this, do you remember your goal? How badly do you want it? What are you willing to do to get it? Are you willing to get up 30 minutes early so you can exercise? Are you willing to listen to some of those audios to help you quit smoking? Are you willing to do some small sacrifices to achieve what you really want?
Now that you have your goal written down, you’ve ‘felt’ what it was like to achieve your goal, you have a picture of your goal, you have worked through the obstacles with solutions, you now need to take action. Do things that will help you toward your goal. You can’t just think about loosing weight and expect it to just fall off. You have to get up off the couch and do some exercises to achieve your goal. It really isn’t half as hard as you think it is, just do it.
If you’ve already have started a home-based business, are you willing to spend 30 minutes a day working your business? What are you willing to do, legally, ethically and morally, to accomplish your dream?
‘If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.’ What is your plan?
Write it down + Feel it + Pictures + Obstacles/Solution + Action = Success!
This is a little taste of the trainings I. To find out more about me, check out http://www.rosebassett.net. Next week I will post on how to make your goals more obtainable and realistic to accomplish.

Every year we make the effort of making New Year’s Resolutions, only for them to fizzle out before the end of January. ‘If you fail to plan, then you plan to fail.’ Let’s do some planning.
