United States of America (Press Release) December 29, 2007 --
Wyoming -based Anything Business Inc, has launched the next generation of social networking websites with SecretSocieties.com. Little is known about the inter-workings of this new spin on exclusive social networking. Although Secret Societies claim they will be the new standard in social networking. Unlike their competitors, once you pay your “life membership fee” you never pay again. With a relatively high membership fee SecretSocieties.com has figured out how to make ad supported networking a thing of the past. Their website gives little insight to how the operation is run or how many people they will allow into their secret society. What they do tell us is, once your a member, their will be no unwanted advertising or spam, and you get a lifetime of exclusive social networking. What’s the catch? Well there is the one time fee of $1,000 and a rigid verification process for the select few who qualify.
SecretSocieties.com boasts very limited social niches, ranging from entrepreneurs, Ivy League students, and 14 other categories including “people who have climbed Mt. Everest. The real question is how they will survive long term? The new venture claims that their one time membership fee provides enough revenue to maintain an ad free networking platform without charging monthly fees. This solves the problem of inactive members or people who might get worn down by a $50-$80 monthly fee. This format also allows members to be guilt free when they don’t have time to use their networks.
The obvious question I asked myself? Would I pay $1,000 to network with an exclusive group of people? My answer came relatively easily, since I went to a private college, where I paid $160,000. Yes I received a good education but I paid extra for the network. Would I be willing to pay it again? Absolutely, my network is priceless, not to mention my time. By removing the spam element of social networking, I will save thousands of dollars in time.
The world of social networking is shrinking into smaller social circles on a daily basis, and if SecretSocieties.com can get traction it just might set a new standard.
