Bel Air / Abingdon based magicians entertained for the Samari Rolle Foundation holiday event
Bel Air and Abingdon, Md. Thursday December 20, 2007 - MAGICTAINMENT entertained for the Samari Rolle Foundation holiday event. While walking through the crowd, who were sipping Corona and eating wings, it was inevitable to walk into people like Adrienne Watson Carver (Mrs. Maryland) and Baltimore Ravens Cory Ivy, Antwan Barnes, Prescott Burgess, Ray Lewis, and Samari Rolle to name a few.
Lindy asked several participants to mentally think of ANY playing card in a deck and NEVER share what card they were merely thinking about in their minds and within moments…NEVER asking them ANY questions verbally delivers their chosen card to them. The response (needless to say) is OVERWELMING!
She quickly grabs the audience by the mental juggler vein and does not let go until the final revelation. To bring her captivated participants back into the realm of reality, Lindy delivers an illusion using only two playing cards (which you take with you as a token of what just took place in your own hands).
Lindy’s ability to enchant even the most cynic critic is unparallel to nearly all magicians. Having this ‘ability’ to read peoples thoughts has proven itself time and again and at this particular event was sheer mental floss to all those who experienced Lindy.
Dave and Lindy are often heard saying, “We are shattering the standard perception of magicians”
Dave indulged the guests with several of his signature effects and his tongue in cheek humor (Dave likes to inform people as he delivers his play on words – puns like …“imagine if Red Skeleton and Steve Martin had a son and he was touched in the head…this - - would be me”). When it comes to his ‘magic’, he takes you into the world of impossibility, which within moments your disbelief is suspended as you witness him performing magic with miracle like status. Everyone present is in an absolute state of belief, in the unknown. What David did …”was it real or was it just an illusion?”
Opening with what he classifies as the “Intellectual Stimulator, The Thinking Persons Illusion” which is all the rage with anyone who enjoys their mind being prodded, Dave informs all those watching with eagerness to what he is about to do and after the fact those around actually see what Dave said would take place happen.
