Baby Nursery Theme and Decor Photography Contest Winners

(Free-Press-Release.com) January 2, 2008 -- Professional as well as amateur decorators and photographers had until the cutoff date of December 31st, 2007 to submit their pictures and essays and were welcome to submit as many entries as they liked so long as each was their personal non-copyrighted property. Participation for this contest exceeded expectations and the results were many pictures with helpful instructions that will be of use to new parents that will be designing their first nursery.

Three winners were picked from the numerous excellent entries into www.Unique-Baby-Gear-Idea’s “Baby Nursery Theme and Decor Picture” and essay contest. The winners will all be rewarded with gift certificates from Amazon.com. Visitor’s comments left on each entrant’s personal page were factors in the final decision as well as creativity of each room’s layout and design.


Grand prize was awarded to Crystal Yexley’s Orange, Beige and Black Gender Neutral Color Scheme. She was suggested for first place with many votes from the contest page’s visitors on her unisex nursery that was designed using earth tones and glossy black nursery furnishings.

Mrs. Albanese was awarded second place with her bright and cheerful pink and apple green nursery. The lively room and wall painting were favorites as well as her nursery accessories.

Doctor Seuss is always a winner on bookshelves and works well in the world of baby decor. Shannon Lambert, the artist that entered the unique Dr. Seuss mural was awarded third place with her hand painted mural featuring characters from the pages of Dr. Seuss’ books. The lucky baby who inhabits this room will be well acquainted with Fox in Sox, Green Eggs and Ham and many other fanciful creatures found in Dr. Seuss books.
