Celebrity Pink – a branded junior and private label denim manufacturer - names new President

(Free-Press-Release.com) January 5, 2008 -- Los Angeles, CA – January 4, 2008 – 2253 Apparel Inc., doing business as Celebrity Pink Jeans, a premier manufacturer of junior denim and knit tops, as well as a maker of private label in all categories of women’s woven bottoms, is pleased to announce that effective immediately, Dan Shainis will become the new President, relieving its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Doron Kadosh, of that title. Kadosh will remain the company’s Chairman and CEO.

Shainis joined the company a little over a year ago where he was responsible for developing and executing the company’s sales and marketing strategies, expanding its retail customer base, and new market opportunities. In his new position, Shainis will oversee and direct all aspects of the company’s management and operations, as well as its sales and marketing.

Prior to joining Celebrity Pink, Shainis worked for Jones Apparel’s L.E.I. and Sun Apparel divisions. He has also held account executive and sales management positions at Memphis Apparel Group and Bugle Boy Industries. Shainis will commute between the company’s main offices in Los Angeles and its show room in New York, located at 1407 Broadway, suite 3901.

“Dan is well known in the apparel market and has over thirty years experience in Jeanswear. His wealth of experience, deep understanding and knowledge of the market, leadership abilities, and passion for sales and customer service makes him the ideal person to lead the growth of Celebrity Pink,” said Kadosh.

Shainis’ appointment concludes the company’s year long restructuring process, involving the hiring of key personnel, as well as the revamping and expanding of its product offerings and customer base.
