United States of America (Press Release) January 6, 2008 --
A small lottery information website has been banned by the government of Saudi Arabia.
No reason was given for the ban of lots0cash.com, however Saudi Officials have stated in the past that website banning was used by the Saudi Government to protect Muslim values. Observers of the Saudi Government have stated the website bans were almost always for political and or financial reasons.
The owner of lots0cash.com had a rather unusual response to the Saudi banning.
According to Brad Bristol owner of lots0cash.com, "...the Government of Saudi Arabia was so afraid of what we here at our little lottery directory had to say, that the Government of Saudi Arabia has seen fit to ban our website lots0cash.com from being viewed by the people of Saudi Arabia."
The site owner goes on to say that he is proud of the banning and wears the banning by the repressive Saudi Government like a Badge of Great Honor...
