From modest beginnings in early 2007, the Cornwall Shopping Centre has continued to offer local merchants effortless expansion into the lively and profitable e-marketplace, while consistently providing online consumers a safe a comfortable shopping experience.
The Cornwall Shopping Centre’s regional membership of online merchants has surpassed two hundred area representatives. Each unique merchant is showcased in at least one of the community’s comprehensive, shopping categories. Innovative consumer options have expanded to include an Auto Mall, Food Court, Professional Services page and an online Cinema; featuring- instant “Burn to DVD” service.
The SEO team at the Cornwall Shopping Centre spent the early and mid months of 2007, establishing a favorable and permanent position in popular search rankings. By July 2007, limited partnerships with TrafficXs and Google had produced a consistent top 3 placement in all major search engines; including Google, Yahoo and MSN. After satisfying a performance audit in late September 2007 the Companies mutually dissolved their partnerships in early October. The Cornwall Shopping Centre has since employed the full time, professional services of a seasoned SEO officer to lead their optimization team.
In early September of 2007, the Cornwall Shopping Centre secured Canadian distribution rights to revolutionary restaurant software developed by Ecropolis Inc. Dubbed the “ZaZa Topper”, this innovative software and applied technology allows small businesses to mirror the online ordering options, currently enjoyed by corporate competitors. The website will be officially launched at www.cafeconnectionz.com in January 2008.
A strategic partnership and advertising revenue-sharing agreement forged with IndustryGripe.com in late October 2007 saw the timely introduction of the shopping community’s first Bulletin Board and Classified Ads forum. The Cornwall-Seaway Forum (www.cornwallseawayforum.com) offers area merchants and local consumers, an exciting opportunity to review, publish and discuss product/service ratings or reviews. Visitors are also encouraged to post items for sale, purchase or trade; as well as, debate current regional events and local concerns.
Since the innovative shopping community’s official launch at www.cornwallshoppingcentre.ca in April 2007, almost fifteen thousand (15,000) visitors have browsed nearly sixty thousand (60,000) pages of profiled merchants and community organizations. At the current rate of growth, this number is expected to more than double, exceeding forty thousand (40,000) visitors by the fall of 2008.
