Bulgaria, People's Republic of (Press Release) January 11, 2008 --
In today's modern life physical appearance is more important than ever with social and career success being firmly rooted. The popular personal image is built around fitness in both mental and physical aspect. Thus more and more people are keen and interested to keep themselves in shape, especially after a period of eating heavier food instead of fresh fruits and vegetables.
The first step to take in starting to get rid of the unwanted body mass is to take a close look at your diet. This is the first step of your journey to weight loss. Are you depending on chips, fast and other junk food and soda to get you through the day? Do you eat enough fruits and vegetables? Hamburgers, fries and soda is a tasty combination, but deadly to your health. If you want to stay fit and look good you must quit eating high-powered junk food.
Your body tries to store as much energy as possible to use it later and the high-powered foods combined with sedentary lifestyle gives the body much more energy than it naturally burns. This energy is not thrown away or lost, it is converted to fat and stored. This means you have to throw away this type of food and turn to healthier diet with more fruits and vegetables to satisfy hunger without endangering your health.
The second step to feeling and looking better is exercising. Proper diet helps the body not to get more energy than it uses and exercising makes us use the already stored energy. Brisk walks after meals is OK, exercising about half an hour per day is good, and going to the gym for an hour five days a week is excellent. Of course there is no need to starve or exhaust yourself. With thoughtful and positive attitude a little diet and exercising can be even fun.
