MINNEAPOLIS, MINN.—Event planners at all levels of experience can add something new to their bag of tricks at the 16th annual Event Planners and Suppliers Expo, Weds., March 5, 2008.
Scheduled from Noon until 7:00 p.m. at the Metropolitan Event Center, 5418 Wayzata Blvd., Golden Valley, the Expo serves as a meeting ground for corporate and association event planners as well as independent party and event planners who connect with the people and companies that supply events.
“We’ll have hundreds of sources there,” said “Magic Brad” Gudim, one-half of the event marketing duo known as "The Expo Guys." “It’s where the meetings, conventions, tourism, attractions, hospitality and entertainment industries come to shop and do business.”
Exhibitors include everything from ad specialty companies to tour operators. Show attendees can try out the latest games and inflatables, sample gift baskets and meet with photographers, modeling agencies and limousine services. Seminars and live entertainment round out the one-day event. The Metropolitan Event Center is located just off I-394 and the Xenia/Park Place exit.
Admission is $6 at the door. “Qualified” planners may pre-register online at http://www.mediamaxevents.com.
