“The 2008 Fastener Fair Coventry exhibition is really gathering pace,” says organiser Jerry Ramsdale, “And at this early stage our sector-focused exhibition is already almost three quarters full.” He reports that companies from every part of the fastener and fixings sector have signed up to exhibit at the UK and Ireland exhibition, as well as to attend the hugely popular Gala Dinner.
Exhibitors include the loyal ‘big names’ that have attended the event for many years, as well as new companies exhibiting for the first time. Not only that, but many more international exhibitors will also be taking part, from Asia, continental Europe and North America.
Visitor interest is growing too. “People attending Fastener Fair Coventry are all qualified trade buyers and industry professionals,” says Ramsdale, “And we’ve been really encouraged by the early interest being shown by them. To support the growth of visitors, we are currently building a brand new website which will have a pre-registration facility that is fast and easy to use.”
Fastener Fair Coventry is exclusively for the markets of the UK and Ireland, and represents all aspects of the fastener and fixing market. It brings together manufacturers, machine suppliers, wholesalers, distributors, importers, exporters and tool suppliers, in addition to suppliers of services and related products.
The next Fastener Fair Coventry will take place at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry, England on 11 and 12 June 2008. The Gala Dinner, which is almost sold out, will be held on the evening of Wednesday 11 June.

Fastener Fair Coventry 2008 will take place at the same venue as the 2006 event – the outstanding Ricoh Arena at the centre of the country and the heart of the motorway network, with easy access by road, rail and air. The Ricoh Arena is less than two hours’ drive for almost 75% of the population of Britain, and is also easily accessible by road, rail, sea and air for visitors from Ireland.
