“At 13 I was placed in the state hospital where I lived for 18 months. I was there because my fundamentalist Pentecostal foster parents thought I was gay and I wouldn’t stop attempting suicide. In reality, the suicide attempts were the result of being molested over and over by a neighbor of the foster parents. I told the foster parents and the state child welfare case worker. They said they told the man to stay away from me, that was it. They believed I was gay but I was acting that way in an attempt to keep the man away from me. It didn’t work so suicide seemed the only option.” At 2 ½ her mother tortured her by submerging her in the bathtub just until the bubbles stopped popping up. That only ceased because her mother broke her arm the last time jerking her out of the bath tub too hard.
In over 600 pages of documented charting from the state hospital, professionals said that with her psychological trauma and mental capacity, she would be dead before the age of 30. No person goes through everything she did and leads any sort of “normal” life.
At 17, she joined the U.S. Army but after a few weeks in basic training was disabled and received a medical honorable discharge. This led to more suicide attempts because she believed this made her a loser. That was 1981 and way back then, you had to be in the service for more than 3 weeks in order to be able to receive any military benefits. This left her on SSI. Supplemental Security Income from Social Security. Today, she receives about $630 per month.
Now at 43, she has built a couple of websites or blogs, www.rebasrebates.com and www.rebasreviews.com and together, they receive nearly 2,000 visitors a day. She has decided to succeed no matter what. It took her 43 years to get to the point where she decided she wasn’t going to lose. She wants to tell others that they are worth more than they think. She wants the “ American Dream” and hopes to help others reach for it as well. But first, using Google Adsense and a Google Search Box on her blog, she needs to find out if the American Dream is dead or still alive in 2008.

Now she is trying to get in the Guinness book of World Records by creating the world’s most viewed blog page. “ with determination and hard work, I will reach my goal and have the world’s most viewed blog page. But not without millions of people viewing it”. The Google Adsense advertisements and the Google Search Box, are there because she wants to work herself out of needing SSI (Social Security). It’s almost impossible to live on about $630 per month.
