Free SuperBook of Family Safety to Reach 10 Million Nationwide

January 25, 2008

National Public Safety non-profit partners with local and national businesses to distribute for free 10 million copies of the SuperBook of Family Safety. Help make America a safe place to live.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) January 25, 2008 -- Washington, D.C. – In a nation where hundreds of thousands are injured every year in preventable accidents and where millions fall victim to crime and violence a national coalition of non-profits and business leaders have gone on the proactive defense. The Good Knight Child Empowerment Network and Mothers Against Predators have joined with local and national businesses to publish the SuperBook of Family Safety which will be distributed to 10 million homes, schools, organizations and businesses nationwide this year.

The SuperBook of Family Safety will be an up to date resource guide with comprehensive safety instructions covering all aspects of life i.e., car seat safety, fire safety, bicycle safety, senior safety, cyber safety, substance abuse prevention, gang awareness, crime prevention and conflict resolution, just to name a few. The SuperBook will also contain pertinent short stories, quizzes, personal child identification forms, and a contact directory of helpful national and local family resources. The SuperBook will be a valuable resource for the home for many years to come.

Keeping the public safe from present day dangers that could be prevented should be our first concern. What people don’t know does hurt them. The Super Safety Project is seeking concerned local and national businesses, organizations and volunteer individuals to join the coalition and help distribute the SuperBook within your community. The first two editions of the SuperBook will be distributed to the Washington and Baltimore Metropolitan Areas in the spring of 2008. The national edition of the SuperBook will be ready for nationwide distribution in the summer of 2008 with 200,000 copies available for each state, 10 million in all. A list of all distribution outlets where the SuperBook can be found will be listed on our website to coordinate with the national media tour that will begin during April 2008, National Child Safety Awareness Month. Together with local Hometown Heroes the coalition will stop many crimes, injuries and death making America a safer place to live.
