Michael Q. Schmidt appeared January 28 2008 at B.B. King's in Los Angeles, as the very unabashed "Professor Nude". The audience howled. Never has a fat naked man been so funny.

United States of America (Press Release) January 28, 2008 -- Schmidt loves continued challenges, keeping himself busy with a wide range of projects and accepting any project or role where he can infuse himself with the art. Says Michael, "I love giving a director more than they thought they could get... more than they might ask... scenes and variations that give more options in post. Its far better to have something they might not use, than to be in edit and wish they had shot something they did not. Participation in a project makes me a partner in its success." He succeeded at B.B.King's. As part of the new live/broadcast talkshow format "Totally Ampd", he raised the bar a few more notches.

A surprising newcomer to the industry, Schmidt had definitely proven his willingness to give a project far more than 100%. Since late 1999, he has made appearances in 30 feature films (17 in principle or featured roles), 40 short films (30 in principle or featured roles), 23 television shows (making 57 appearances as either himself or as a featured character), 14 music videos, 10 commercials, and 8 webisode comedies... an amazing 159 projects... 144 of them in the 4 years since 2003. Michael credits his outgoing spirit, energy, and unabashed nature to his 10+ years as a fine arts model. Though he is best known for his naked appearances on Comedy Central's "Distraction" game show and for his recurring apperances as the overweight Joy Peters in "Tom Goes to the Mayor", Michael can be found in many films making contributions that bring a smile.

This is one actor to keep an eye on if you aren't bashful... 'cause he sure ain't.
