United States of America (Press Release) February 1, 2008 --
Linen manufacturers from all over the globe exhibit at Heimtex in Frankfurt, Germany to present the latest textile designs and technology. Christian Fischbacher, as usual, is the leader with innovative designs in luxury bedding and bath.
In the bedding department, several collections have caught our eye. The signature design this year is called “Le Paradis”, a printed floral design in 3 color ways: multicolor on white, blue on white (reminiscent of Chinese export porcelain), and multicolor on taupe.
“Oil on Canvas”, another bold bedding design that represents drips of paint, is available in multiple colors and is easily combined with any of the 52 solid sateen colors. For those individuals who love modern art but don’t have the millions for Rothko or Pollock, “Oil on Canvas” is the way to go.
Jersey knit bedding is extremely popular in Europe. It is the perfect marriage between elegance and practicality as it requires no ironing and looks beautiful right out of the dryer. Christian Fischbacher has introduced 2 new floral designs in jersey knit that bring glorious color into the bedroom: “Orphea” are serene phalaenopsis orchids in soft pink or sky blue on white jersey. “Masoala” is an exuberant tropical design of anthurium and fern that resembles a 19th century botanical. Both designs can be matched with jersey knit bedding in 52 solid colors.
For the children, we can’t think of anything more delightful than “In the Zoo”, a creative printed design with lions in party hats, flamingos sporting parasols, frolicking monkeys and giraffes. Getting small children to bed should be no problem, with such an enchanting menagerie in the bedroom.
To coordinate these lovely bed linens, Christian Fischbacher also offers terry towels, robes and bathmats that are not only beautiful, but are manufactured with the environment in mind. These extraordinarily soft, top quality products with maximum absorbability reach their peak in the premium quality called “Dreamflor”. There are 9 sizes and 28 color choices including the new colors this season of Viola, Metal and Sky Blue. The same color palette is also used in the
«Dreamtuft» (hand-tufted bathmats) program. “Dreamflor” toweling is also ideal for yacht as it dries quickly while maintaining maximum absorbency.
Christian Fischbacher bedding and bath may be purchased in the US at Aiko Luxury Linens in Miami, Florida and online at http://www.italianfinelinens.com. Designers are welcome to bring fabric swatches or paint samples to coordinate bedding with existing décor.
