Short-Feature Documentary Will Capture Make-It-or-Break-It Moments
Los Angeles, Calif. (February 2008) – Risking it all for the dream of the perfect toy may lead to success … or heartbreaking failure. What will putting it on the line mean for new exhibitors at this year’s American International Toy Fair? TDmonthly Magazine (www.tdmonthly.com) will find out through its short-feature documentary, “TOY FRENZY! Only the Fun Survive.”
At Toy Fair 2008, Feb. 17-20, TDmonthly will reveal the struggles and successes of three first-time exhibitors at Toy Fair — The Tails of Abbygail, Frolicking Floaters and ethiKids, inc. — putting human faces to the recall-scarred toy industry and dramatizing the dangers and rewards of living out the American Dream.
In addition to following new companies, “TOY FRENZY!” will gauge how retailers and buyers respond to some of the market’s newest products and bring various elements of the exciting and challenging trade-only event into the public eye.
The finished documentary will be broadcast in segments on TDmonthly.com, YouTube and Google video, and will also be presented as a complete short-format film for the festival circuit.
