United States of America (Press Release) February 5, 2008 --
Peter Maneos, aka Pietros Maneos, has clearly established himself as a man for all seasons - from workout magazines and fitness ads, to poetry books and publications.
Peter was raised in Pennsylvania by a Greek father and Italian mother, and he inherited good looks, intelligence, and striking charm. These traits combined with a fabulous physique and sex appeal made him one of today's hottest and most sought out models.
Peter has worked with some of the world's best photographers, including Bruce Weber, Christopher Makos, David Vance, Steven Underhill, and Brian To. He's modeled for Men's Workout, Exercise for Men Only, International Male, Abercrombie and Fitch, and BodyBodyWear.
Peter is a world-famous model and personal trainer. In addition, Peter was featured on the MTV reality show 'True Life', as well as 'The Big Idea' on CNBC with Donnie Deutsch.
But there is another side to Peter. At the University of Miami he majored in English Literature with a minor in Classical Antiquity (the study of ancient Rome and Greece).
On the bbpics.com web site, he says, "Beside an affinity for the ancient world, I am also interested in Spanish Poetry and my musical interests range from classical Italian opera to rai music . Favorite movies range from such films as "Zorba The Greek", "Il Postino", "English Patient", "The Talented Mr. Ripley", "Cinema Paradiso" to the movie "Gladiator". In the future I hope to reside in my favorite city of Rome."
He returns to Connex247 in a chat with Mike Morris.
Michael: Peter, Give us an update on what has been happening with you since we last chatted.
Peter: Well, after the MTV True Life show and CNBC 'The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch' I've just been focusing on my training and having a good time. I've been going to the beach a lot, going to movies, dinners, and just enjoying life. I really love living in S. Florida, so I take full advantage of everything that it has to offer. Also, I stay very busy as a personal trainer.
Michael: Tell us about your new workout videos.
Peter: Well, I was getting a lot of requests from fans for an actual DVD instead of just webcontent videos/pics, so I partnered up with my good friend Alex Daley to form www.FitnessWorkoutsInc.com . We finished filming our first video, and it is for sale now!
Michael: Are you still pursuing your career as a writer? Whats new?
Peter: No, I honestly haven't had the time or the inclination to write recently. Maybe in the future when I have more time, I'll be able to delve back into intellectual pursuits, but for now I am too busy.
Michael: What are your plans personally and professionally for 2007.
Peter: Well, my goal is to make www.FitnessWorkoutsInc.com a success, and shoot an entire series for it. The first DVD is an arm workout, but I'd like to 4 or 5 DVDs that covers the entire body. In addition, I would also like to start shooting other models, maybe even some of your Connex247 star-models. :-)
Michael: Add any comments..
Peter: I just want to thank all of my fans who have supported me throughout the years.
