New Women Business Owners Networking Group In Greater Milwaukee Area

(Free-Press-Release.com) February 5, 2008 -- West Milwaukee– February 2008 – Greater Milwaukee Professional Women's Networking Grouphas officially joined Meetup.com to expand and reach more woman business owners, giving them more opportunities to meet others in person.

Greater Milwaukee Professional Women's Networking Group is a local networking group in association with the international organization, Women Business Owners. The organizer of this group is Anita Bruton, owner of Anita’s Professional Writing Services in West Milwaukee, WI.

Women Business Owners (WBO) is a 501c3 non-profit organization founded in 2004 in Houston, Texas. Its mission is to provide education and support for women business owners throughout the world with online educational resources, classes, workshops, mentoring, seminars, networking and referrals.

The purpose of WBO at Meetup is to be able to arrange networking events in different areas across the United States, regardless of their location.

“We welcome all women who own businesses to join our international and local groups and take advantage of all we have to offer. Enrollment at Meetup.com is free and, barring a few simple rules, there are no membership obligations” Bruton said. Bruton says “Our meetings will consist of professional women networking together, sharing information, resources and referrals. The purpose of networking with our group is to help one another achieve success as business owners.” The meeting will last about an hour and a half. Networking is free, and there are no membership fees for the local networking group. Women can treat themselves to breakfast while networking together.
