You complete 21 crossword puzzles based on the Gospel’s 21 chapters. As you read, you respond to prompts and questions arranged in the order of the text. You read a few verses and then answer related prompts, proceeding interactively.

The Gospel of John tackles the questions of life. Who are we? Why are we here on Earth? Where are we going? Who is Jesus? Is there a Heaven and a Hell? How can we get to Heaven? John, guided by the Holy Spirit, wrote this brief document to answer these questions. It is beautiful reading, and, too often, we get lost in its prose. By answering questions as we read, we are forced to think about the meaning of these majestic verses. You will have a better understanding of this Gospel when you have completed these puzzles.

You can read a document and not comprehend it well. The Crossword Institute, publisher of “Crossword John”, believes that you will grasp an article better if you fill out a crossword puzzle on the subject matter as you read it. The Institute uses a software program, “Get.it?” to compute and render crosswords. “Get.it?” is short for "Did you get it? when you read it?”

The author has added brief notes to help you understand what the verses mean. Other books are planned: Acts, Romans, etc.
