National Home Staging Training Company Launches New Courses

(Free-Press-Release.com) February 12, 2008 -- Michigan, February 12, 2008 - In the last 5 years the Home Staging industry has emerged as an unequivocal force that is changing the way real estate listings are being marketed. SMART Stagers, a national home staging training company, has been a part of that movement.

Currently offering only a 5 day home staging training course, SMART Stagers saw the need to develop a quality 3 day course. “We consistently hear from stagers in the industry who have taken other 3 day courses and they complain that their business is suffering from lack of complete training,” says Cari Pilon, co-founder of SMART Stagers. “Our goal is to provide training as thorough and complete as our 5 day course, but fit it into 3 days.”

Many aspiring stagers are switching careers mid-life, replacing a lost job or just trying to bring in additional income. This course will accommodate those who may have family or employment commitments that would make it difficult to attend a longer course.

“Most of the 3 day courses will be held over the weekends and a few are scheduled for mid-week in case people have other jobs on the weekends,” said Sharon Ahrens, President of SMART Stagers. “We have also addressed the struggling home stager through continuing education courses.”

SMART Stagers will launch continuing education courses in March which will address marketing, business management and specialty courses to develop a niche for a specific market as it applies to staging. Also launching in March will be a Real Estate Professional home staging training program for agents to learn more about staging,

The Certified SMART Agent (CSA) designation will be given to agents who complete a 2 day course on home staging. This designation allows the agents to recognize the need for staging, to know how to address it with their clients, to actually stage the homes they list and how to market staging to increase clientele.
