Author Marianne Arkins to Publish First Novel

Contemporary Romance Will be Released by Samhain Publishing

MANCHESTER, NH., February 1. 2008 – “One Love For Liv”, the first full length publication by romance author Marianne Arkins, will be released on February 12, 2008 by Samhain Publishing.

“One Love For Liv” is about Olivia “Liv” Leigh, wealthy socialite and spa owner, who suspects her fiancé of cheating on her. Drastic steps are required to discover whether appearances are deceiving. And if those steps require a bit of stalking, a change of appearance, a hippo-sized dog named Spike, and sacrificing her manicure to clean house for a sexy-but-sloppy man whose neighbor is determined to break several of the strangest Guinness world records, why should that be a problem?.

“I have a difficult time keeping a straight face when I write,” said Arkins. “This book is no exception. I wrote it during the 2005 NaNoWriMo challenge, and incorporated some unusual “dares” from the message board in the writing of this work.”
