www.jctrans.net is the most famous logistics integrated portals in China. According to Alexa, a reputable website ranking institution, JCtrans has been ranked the No.1 logistics websites in China for the last four years in succession. JCtrans was established with the goal of strengthening the cooperation between Chinese and overseas freight forwarders and to provide an online platform for global freight forwarders.
In 2007, JCtrans successfully held conferences in Tianjin, Shenzhen, and Shanghai and the total number of attendees was around 2,000. Most of them were local freight forwarders, and some were shippers, brokers and traders. The purposes of conferences include: networking, brand promoting and sharing experience. In 2008, JCtrans plan to continue the tour in those cities mentioned above plus Qingdao, Ningbo and Xiamen.
From January 23rd to 25th, 2008, JCtrans delegates attended Air Cargo India 2008. Gains from the exhibition are tremendous. Unlike FIATA Congress 2008 we participated in Dubai, Air Cargo India is much more localized, but well-targeted. As everyone knows, Indian and Pakistan members are more active at www.jctrans.net, compared to members from other regions. JCtrans and its freight forwarder members have benefited from the close trade relations between China and Middle East, and other economic factors.
Based on multi-years experience in freight forwarding industry, JCtrans know what a freight forwarder want, and would like to offer what he knows to its members, and make them benefit. A recently launched section is Port Resources. Why this? When you ask a freight forwarder what they think is the most difficult thing when they do business, they will probably tell you it is hard to find a reliable partner to work with. All the partners make up the lifeline.
So, Port Resources, to some extend, can meet this need. On the one hand, Port Resources let freight forwarders listed on that page be found easily by other freight forwarders; On the other hand, freight forwarders can find information they need related to a specific port.
Since it’s only a beta version of Port Resources, JCtrans will keep on modifying it until it contains all the contents needed.
