The goal of Child Shield, U.S.A. is to reduce the number of missing and abducted children. Their child safety kit provides easy to follow education designed to empower parents and children with knowledge that can help prevent tragedy. The education includes the Safety Seven poster and Play it Safe coloring/activity book. They help children retain the safety information they’ve learned. Child Shield, U.S.A. is the only organization with a prevention program with over 10 years of statistics proving it works.
The second goal is to furnish parents and police with a "one stop force" for assistance in distributing information about a missing child, aiding in the recovery effort. Upon being notified of the disappearance, they contact police and assist by duplicating videotapes and posters and distributing them to the destinations in the Child Shield, U.S.A. database. This database contains hundreds of law agencies, missing children’s organizations, and national news media contacts. They also send videotapes and posters to ANY destinations authorities request. At NO COST to the family or police! They put up a $50,000 reward for recovery of the child and hire a Private Investigator to help in the recovery.
