Debut Broadcasting to Expand Its Market Reach by More Than 25 Percent as FCC Approves Tower Height
The new expected reach of the Indianola, Miss. radio station greatly increases its potential audience size and should lead to greater revenue generating opportunities through advertising
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Feb. 20, 2008 – Debut Broadcasting Corporation, Inc. (OTC BB: DBTB.OB), a media and entertainment company, today announced its market reach will improve by more than 25 percent due to an approval granted by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to build a larger tower for one of its radio stations, WNLA-FM based in Indianola, Miss.
As a result of the tower height improvements, WNLA-FM will now broadcast a clear, static-free signal across three surrounding counties, increasing its potential audience size by more than 35,000 potential listeners. The height of the tower will increase from 199 feet to 320 feet, resulting in a 60 percent change. Also, by installing a new FM transmitter, the stations broadcast power will increase from 2,200 watts to more than 3,000 watts. The new signal strength will also encompass Greenwood, Miss., a city with a strong socioeconomic base, giving advertisers more valuable listeners in that region.
“Expanding our market reach in the Mississippi Delta region provides us with greater revenue-generating opportunities,” said Steven Ludwig, CEO of Debut Broadcasting. “Due to the increased potential audience, we can now offer more value to our advertising clients, which, in turn, makes WNLA-FM a better asset value to our investors.”
“Our investors should also note that this approval further helps us accomplish two of the goals we identified to specifically maximize our existing customer base and generate new business opportunities, as outlined in our January sales development plan.”
This announcement, however, does not change the projection Debut made in January to increase its 2008 sales forecast for the Greenville, Miss. market on the basis of early results in the new business initiative. The financial impact from these new advertising customers is expected to be reflected in Q1 2008 reporting. The FCC approval allows up to 36 months to complete the enhancement to the tower. However, Debut expects tower improvements to begin within the next few months, spring weather permitting.
