United States of America (Press Release) February 28, 2008 --
Pierce Professional Resources announces the launch of a new consulting and full time resources division called: Pierce Finance & Accounting. Pierce’s Finance & Accounting division solidifies its commitment to provide its customers with a complete portfolio of employment solutions.
Pierce is in an ideal position to leverage and market to the Finance and Accounting area by cross-selling to its existing Information Technology partners. Pierce has a strong position in IT staffing and recruitment and these relationships can be leveraged to expand into financial services recruitment and staffing.
Pierce’s Finance & Accounting division will have its own customer relationship staff enabling their clients to have a single point of contact for all finance and accounting staffing positions. Pierce will offer experienced accounting and finance personnel in consulting roles or for permanent placement.
According to Doug Andersen, Pierce CEO; “A quarter of a century in the professional staffing industry has taught me some essential lessons. For starters, no matter how advanced recruiting software systems become, they’ll never take the place of good, old-fashioned human interaction. People aren’t commodities – they are the lifeblood of every business. If an organization orders people like they do their pencils, they are mishandling their most vital resource.”
Pierce serves its customers from three strategic locations: New York, Boston and New Jersey where their corporate headquarters are located. Pierce Corporation has built an impressive network of clients and has become the “go to company” for many leading firms in the pharmaceutical, financial services and management consulting industries.
Doug Anderson, CEO holds a BS in Marketing from Seton Hall University, and an MBA from The Wharton School, The University of Pennsylvania.
