Toronto, Canada March 7, 2008- Guitarist, singer and showman extraordinaire Steve Strongman proudly announces his music showcase presented in association with Canadian Music Week. The Showcase is scheduled for 9pm Friday March 7th at the renowned live blues music venue, Healey’s (56 Blue Jays Way Phone: 416 703 5882.)

Thanks to his recent CD “Honey”, that has caught the ears of both blues purists and younger listeners alike, this Bluesman’s mojo is on the rise. Having garnered 4 nominations at the 2007 Hamilton Music Awards, a Maple Blues nomination for “Best new Artist” and hot off playing to sold out venues in Western Canada, this Gibson Guitar artist’s stylings has been aptly described as “leaving skids marks, he plays so fast and turns so sharp, and not to show off, but his boss is the Blues and he is the getaway driver.” (Jeff Mahoney)
