The presentations this year board subjects like health, nutrition, management, supply of grain and international market of meat, the new requirements of the European Community with regard to animal welfare, waste and food safety.
Supply and demand of the international market of grain is one of the subjects to be debated during the IX Symposium South Brazil of Poultry farming – IX SBSA - that will be carried out from 01 to 03 of April in Chapecó, SC - Brazil.
In accordance with the Organizing Commission of the IX SBSA all subjects to be presented it has relevance, but none is as punctual and of concern of technicians and businessmen of the sector as the relation between offer and production of chicken, inside the context of a market with huge sanitary challenges and the balance between grain production X meat production. “Attentive to the demands of the worldwide poultry industry, the Scientific Commission of the SBSA looked to rule the theme in the essential questions of meat market and his fundamental raw materials. Between the invited speakers for this ninth publication there are Dr. Antônio Mario Penz Junior, teacher of the Zootechny Department of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul – UFRS, great specialist in poultry farming that will present the subject “Future of Grain X Biofuel”.
Internationally recognized like a reference in the sector, one of the speakers more expected is the veterinarian Dr. Elinor McCartney - Director of the enterprise Pen & Tec Consulting, which is going to board the Demands of the Common European Market. Elinor McCartney, is PhD in animal Pathology for the University of Edinburgh, Scotland and MBA for the Open University and is on the market more than 20 years in the areas of product development and regulatory issues in Europe.
