United States of America (Press Release) March 13, 2008 -- RALEIGH, NC – Donna Preiss, founder and CEO of The Preiss Company (TPCO), was recently honored by Business Leader magazine and Triangle Real Estate magazine as a Triangle residential broker leader for 2007/2008. TPCO is the largest off-campus student housing provider for North Carolina State University, Clemson University, UNC Charlotte. “I’m so honored by this recognition and extremely grateful to the many, many team members who have made this distinction possible,” says Preiss. “I’m fortunate to be surrounded by the most talented, creative, and dedicated real estate professionals in the industry. Together, The Preiss Company is redefining the college experience by providing an environment that stimulates intellectual and social growth and by fostering a community spirit among residents and staff. We look forward to continuing to make a positive impact in the Triangle and in the residential real estate market.”

Throughout her career, Preiss has participated in the acquisition and development of approximately $300 million of student housing development. Over the years, she has been recognized by Triangle Business Journal as one of the Triangle’s most successful professional women and was awarded their 2006 Women in Business Award. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the SPCA, the Advisory Board for the National Multi-Housing Council, the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce Advisory Board, and the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
