The new IBA‘s development center opened on March 12 in Brno, Czech Republic. The opening ceremony was held in the newly built office at 72, Krenova St.
Sergei Levteev, IBA Group President; Valentin Kazan, IBA Group Vice President; and Lubos Brzobohaty, IBA CZ CEO, appeared before guests from IBM and other partner companies, representatives of the press, and IBA Group employees.
The establishment of the new office is a step in the implementation of the program supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic and promoted by CzechInvest, the Czech Investment and Business Development Agency. The program aims to encourage business development in the high-tech sector of the Czech Republic.
To date, IBA Group employs more than 2,000 people. The alliance has three offices in the Czech Republic. The first office, IBA CZ, was set up in Prague in 1999. IBA CZ extended to Brno in 2005. The same year, IBA Group relocated its headquarters to Prague. Furthermore, IBA invested in the construction of a new modern office in Brno. Within a program desiged for the dynamic expansion of the Brno development center, IBA CZ is planning to employ more than 100 IT and business professionals. The Brno professionals will develop products and solutions in IBM and other up-to-date technologies.
Commenting on the event, Levteev said: “IBA will proceed with investment in the Czech high-tech sector because it is relevant to our expansion strategy in Central and Eastern Europe, meets client demands, and complies with the CzechInvest business development program in which IBA is involved.”
Brzobohaty went on to say that “the new office is the result of hard work of the IBA CZ team and of the entire IBA Group“. He added that he looks forward to the expansion of the IBA development center in Brno and is confident that the Brno team willl provide the highest quality services to local and international clients.
