Scottsdale Violent Crime at Lowest Level in 23 Years
Scottsdale is regularly ranked as one of the safest communities in America. A recently released report by the Scottsdale Police Department reported that this past year Scottsdale experienced its lowest violent crime rate in the past 23 years.
Since becoming Mayor in 2000 Mayor Manross has strongly supported increasing the size of the Scottsdale Police Department. Today there are 33% more sworn Police Officers than when she took office. “Congratulations to the terrific men and women of our Scottsdale Police Department for a job well done.” said Scottsdale Mayor Mary Manross.
