United States of America (Press Release) March 24, 2008 --
Wayne, NJ--The Wayne Alliance for the Prevention of Substance Abuse will be hosting another great AllStar Basketball game featuring the Harlem Magic Masters. The game will be held at the Wayne Valley High School on Friday April 18 at 7pm (doors open at 6pm). The Magic Masters will be facing our famous Wayne Alliance AllStars featuring our brave men and women in blue, teachers, principals and other leaders of our community.
Sponsored by several local businesses including Parisi Fitness, Grasshopper, Too, the DFM Foundation and Wendy’s LenFam Mgt. Co., this year’s game promises to be even more entertaining with a special interactive warm-up with Parisi Fitness, 50/50 raffles, memorabilia and a fun audience participation half-time show with the Harlem MagicMasters.
The Harlem MagicMasters are a group of highly talented athletes possessing a combination of great physical abilities, outstanding showmanship, unique basketball skills and positive off court images. They represent some of the best in the professional entertainment arena today. We are happy they are joining us again this year.
Come cheer on your favorite teams and see what these community-minded and spirited individuals can do to help raise funds and awareness for the Wayne Alliance. Proceeds from all events such as this allow the Alliance to continue to provide prevention and educational services to all Wayne residents. The Wayne Alliance shares education, for over 17 years, regarding the prevention of teen alcohol, tobacco and drug abuse in the hopes of creating a safe, healthy family environment.
There are many opportunities for individuals, civic groups, corporations, and businesses to sponsor activities throughout the game. Tickets are available at the Wayne Health Department and by calling the Alliance at 973-694-1800 (ext3244) for more information.
