For the first time visitors to the Western Cape will be able to see all the tourism hotspots in a three-day tour, offering an affordable and flexible option that saves the inconvenience of driving

Called HOTSPOTS2C, owner/manager Johan du Toit saw a major opportunity in the Western Cape travel market after working in the travel and tourism industry in Europe and South Africa for ten years. “I realised there was a big opportunity for an affordable tour with regular departures out of Cape Town that also included all the tourist hotspots within a three-day window. Previously tourists who wanted to see all the hotspots, either had to rent a car or take standalone day-tours,” Du Toit said.
HOTSPOTS2C was launched to fill that gap. The price of a three-day tour starts at only R990 and includes entrance fees, cellar tours and wine-tasting, a township tour, a licensed and informed driver-guide and pick-ups and drop-offs from selected accommodation points. Scheduled departures are every Tuesday and Friday from Cape Town.
“It makes it possible for tourists to see more in a short space of time, because there’s no need to travel back and forth to Cape Town. Accommodation and restaurant meals are also determined by the client’s budget and personal preference, adding another level of flexibility to the product,” Du Toit said. The tour overnights in Stellenbosch and Hermanus and by request HOTSPOTS2C will arrange accommodation and pick up passengers.
