India, Republic of (Press Release) March 27, 2008 -- Delhi, 20th March, 2008: Warner Bros. recently launched an online contest by a tie up with SimplyMarry.com. This development is a step to promote the latest Hollywood motion picture ’27 Dresses’. The matrimony portal also plans to increase its user base with this contest that was set forth on 19th March.

Both of the camps are enthusiastic about this tie up. The SimplyMarry DGM, Sandip Amar said,”Time and again, SimplyMarry.com has stood up to the expectation of its users and has assisted them not only in their search for their life partner but also in everything related to matrimony. All the contests promote and reinforce the same spirit, including the 27 Dresses campaign.” The motive of this event is similar to what an online advertisement agency operates for. That is making promotions for the clients. Though, this development is limited to a single website and not an effective network of publisher websites.

The Twentieth Century Fox’s marketing manager, George John has said,” “We are very pleased to have SimplyMarry.com as our exclusive online partner, they are a perfect fit for the target audience of our film 27 Dresses, we look forward to promoting similar associations in the future.” This feel good romantic comedy ’27 Dresses’ is about a serial bridesmaid, she is matchlessly gorgeous. The flick revolves around the twists and turns in her life, as it progresses to a happy ending.

The matrimony portal does the similar thing for the users, as they find their dream partner. SimplyMarry.com tells that already 40,000 participants have registered since the launch of contest. It is a sizeable number that is likely to expand more with such activities. With such developments, premier portals are providing advertising solutions like an online advertisement agency. Tie ups, mergers, acquisitions and more, the dotcom industry witnesses a lot of events and activities everyday.
