Banyan Rock & Talent President Named Co-Chair of Cary Ducks Unlimited
Michael Sterling to Head Wetland Conservation Efforts

RALEIGH, N.C. (March 25, 2008)— Raleigh financial advisor and business owner Michael J. Sterling of Banyan Rock and Talent, has been named co-chair of the Cary Chapter of North Carolina Ducks Unlimited (NCDU). NCDU is a volunteer-driven, membership-based organization whose sole purpose is to raise funds to protect, enhance and maintain wetland habitat in North Carolina and across North America.

In this position, Sterling, along with co-chair Michael Jennings of Gregory Poole Caterpillar, will be responsible for managing and coordinating fundraising events, such as dinner banquets, golf tournaments, a variety of sporting events and sealed bid auctions.

“As a longtime member of Ducks Unlimited, I am glad to take a leadership role among my peers,” says Sterling, a NCDU member since 1997. “I look forward to continuing to raise awareness and membership for this great organization and its causes.”
