Adam St. George may not have come from a long line of entrepreneurs, but entrepreneurship was certainly in his blood. “I was born and raised in Ohio and grew up in a close-knit family,” says Adam. “My cousins and I all grew up in the same middle-class neighborhood—most of my family worked in the auto industry, construction, or in the steel industry. That was kind of the norm and it was a good life, but I knew I’d break away from the traditional role.”

Adam worked at various jobs, trying to find his niche before landing the job that would change his life. “I attended classes at Ohio State before I moved to Hawaii and became a scuba instructor.” Though he enjoyed the easy-going lifestyle, the high cost of living and his desire to be closer to family and friends caused Adam to leave the Aloha state and return to Ohio. “I got a job in construction, but I knew it wouldn’t be long term,” he says. “I wanted to own my own business.”

He started by founding a home-remodeling company with a partner, in addition to selling items on Ebay to earn some extra money. It was about the same time that he also began to look into network marketing. Eventually, the online sales led him to selling cars on the Internet, and while the business was initially successful, his profits went right back into his business. “The business was causing me a lot of stress and I closed out with a huge loss the last year,” Adam remembers. With the car venture struggling, Adam continued exploring his options in the network-marketing arena. “I knew if I found the right business with the right marketing system, I could make it work.”


Adam finally found a company and system that worked by joining a group called the Dream Team. “Most companies say they have a system, then tell you to make a list of contacts or cold call leads that you have to convince,” Adam explains. “Using those methods, I was lucky to recruit a few people a month. To me that’s not a system.”

But the Dream Team features an automated system that finds individuals who are already motivated and interested in the business, which has help lead Adam to success. “Bottom line—it’s the system. Now I can personally recruit 40-80 reps a month, all on monthly autoship. Most of my distributors sign up before I even talk with them personally. This works absolute wonders with duplication. New distributors can recruit right from the start with this.”............
