Fitness Expert Offers Zumba Workout during Baby Boomer Girlfriends Spring Break

(Free-Press-Release.com) March 28, 2008 -- Fitness expert Pam Archer of is bringing the Zumba workout to Daytona Beach during the First Annual Baby Boomer Girlfriend’s Spring Break.

Zumba is a spicy mix of Flamenco, tango, salsa, hip-hop, calypso and belly dancing and described by many as the hottest, sexiest, most exciting workout ever. Archer, President of Archer Fitness Consultants, Inc. in Tennessee, says she selected Zumba as the class format for the Girlfriend’s Spring Break because it parallels the group in so many ways. “We are a colorful group of ladies, both in personalities and in skin color. We are free-spirited and not afraid to try new things. We are lively and cheerful, and most definitely social. Not everyone in the group is physically active, so this is another reason I chose to teach Zumba. Any fitness level can do this class.”

The fitness expert, who has worked with Jenny Craig, says she anticipates a lot of laughter at the Zumba workout. “I expect jubilation, hollering, clapping, and a whole lot of hip shaking. Zumba is a workout that requires leaving your inhibitions behind, as you enter the room!”

The fitness class is just one of a number of exciting activities baby boomer women can participate in during the weekend of April 19, 2008 at the Hilton Oceanfront Resort. There will also be a pamper me mini-spa, celebrity luncheon, Dynamic Diva Awards Banquet, karaoke and dance contests. The highlight of the weekend will be an over 40 pa-jamming party.

A portion of the weekend’s proceeds generated by the Spring Break sponsor, BAM Enterprises, will benefit the American Heart Association.
