Can a web-based 'working-from-home' business replace an annual salary?

More and more people want to try working from home instead of the daily grind of the office. Tony Stevens is determined to find out whether it's feasible to work from home by trying out one of the ‘best rated’ web-based work from home systems available. With all of the scams and rip-offs on the internet, is there truly a way to make enough money to make a decent living? Stevens remains skeptical about the whole idea but is willing to give it his best effort to come to a clear conclusion. “To most people, the opportunity to stay home and spend more quality time with their family is just a pipe dream. I’m going to give this my best shot and see what happens.”
How can one tell which of these systems is legitimate over all of the scams and get rich quick schemes? “There’s no sure way to tell but I guess at some point, you’ve just got to trust someone and hope that things work-out. I look at it as a learning experience…maybe some of the things I try won’t work out but by doing that I will be able to develop other ideas to try things that will work. I’ve only invested less than $50 and I’ve sure learned a lot along the way so far and it’s only been a few days. It will be fun to track the progress and see how thing unfold. I’ve always been a numbers guy so this is almost $50 worth of entertainment for me.”
He plans on posting the results on his blog in a few weeks and it will be interesting to see just how this experiment pans out.
