(Free-Press-Release.com) March 31, 2008 --
Author Lisa Umina will inspire students and other invited guests as she introduces her latest book “Milo and the Green Wagon – A Life Lesson to Give,” beginning at noon April 19 at St. Augustine, 2486 W. 14th Street, Cleveland. Umina is partnering with St. Augustine’s to advocate and bring awareness to the Fight Against Hunger. Open to the public and special invitation have been invited to the session, scheduled to run until 3 p.m.

In the story, the adorable Milo character finds a wagon in the garbage, fixes it up and then uses it to collect food for the hungry, something Umina did as a child with her brother, David. The heartwarming tale teaches children about
generosity, selflessness, love and respect for all people no matter what their stature in life. Umina’s live ACT with Milo reinforces the idea that each person has gifts and talents to share. The author said one of her aspirations with the new book is to spark interest in ACT Mission food drives.
During the event, Sister Corita Ambro is scheduled to talk about hunger and the needs of the community and will give a tour of the Hunger Center. According to a recent report released by The Center for Community Solutions, the basic need for food is on the rise in Cleveland and the suburbs of Cuyahoga County at the same time that government funding is being reduced.
As a surprise gesture of faith and assistance for Sister Corita, Umina asked invited guests to bring
