Along with the standard avatars players can now upload own pictures to be used as avatars in the lobby lists, associated with players names, in table clock and in player information window.
Users can upload own pictures, including photos in Manage Account page (link "Account" in the top horizontal menu bar), then "Change your face icon". Images in jpeg and gif are supported and are automatically converted in internal format with three basic dimensions, one for lists (20x20 pixels), one for clock (30x30 pixels) and one for information window (60x60 pixels). That's why to have the best avatar quality players can prepare a square picture of 60x60 pixels and upload it. This functionality is available in all multi-player online games, such as Gin-Rummy, Cribbage, Backgammon, Dominoes.
All uploaded pictures are moderated and will be visible for other players after approval procedure, that can take about several hours.
This new functionality adds more entertainment to online games and makes online communication between people closer to the real one, especially if player use their own photos.
