United Kingdom of Great Britain & N. Ireland (Press Release) April 3, 2008 --
Reward, the UK’s only passion-based loyalty management company, today announced Dan Wagner has joined its board of directors, adding to the existing strength of Vincent Tchenguiz, Chairman of Consensus Business Group and Stephen Mitchell, Group Financial Director of iD Data. The appointment will help continue Reward’s strong market growth and is part of its ambitious, long-term development strategy.
Wagner is currently the CEO of Venda Limited, a global leader in e-commerce and Director of Bright Station, a unique investment vehicle focusing on delivering innovative ideas online. Having previously founded and floated M.A.I.D, Wagner’s strong background in e-commerce and experience in engineering numerous acquisitions and strategic alliances will make him a tremendous addition to Reward’s board.
This announcement comes at a very pivotal time in Reward’s development having signed contracts in the last 12 months with retailers Halfords, Superdrug, Burton and CineWorld and affinity groups AC Milan and Tottenham Hotspur. The company has also expanded its offering into Germany and Italy.
Reward has recently signed contracts with online reward programmes Greasy Palm, Mutual Points and Pigsback, who are using Reward’s technology to extend their cashback programmes to the high street.
Gavin Dein, Chief Executive Officer at Reward commented: “Reward has experienced phenomenal growth over the last 12 months. Dan will bring a wealth of experience in both e-commerce and building a global business to our board and help us achieve our long-term goals.”
Established in 1996, Reward has a unique approach to loyalty management. This is underpinned by its loyalty management platform, which provides the technology infrastructure for retailers seeking their own branded loyalty programmes and also as a managed service offering for retailers looking to join an established loyalty network.
