AYSO REGION 2 SOCCER REGISTRATION

(Free-Press-Release.com) April 3, 2008 -- ARCADIA, California. Region 2 of the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) is holding open registration on April 26, 2008 and May 10, 2008 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Camino Grove Elementary School, 700 Camino Grove Avenue, Arcadia, CA 91006. All children ages 4 to 19 who want to play soccer are welcome. No experience is necessary, and every player on every team will play at least half of every game. Those who do not attend registration on either April 26, 2008 or May 10, 2008 are not guaranteed a place on a team.

For each family, the cost for the season is $120 for one player, $200 for two players, and $240 for three or more players. The registration cost includes a team jersey, shorts, socks, pictures, and soccer accident insurance. Finance assistance is available.

New and returning players and volunteers can save time on registration day by going to www.soccer.org and clicking on the eAYSO link (or going to www.eayso.org) and following the instructions for completing the forms, and bringing three print-outs to registration. Returning players and volunteers must re-register every year. New players must bring a proof of age (birth certificate or passport). New players born August 1, 1998 or later should come with shorts and cleats for a soccer assessment.

The LA Galaxy will have a booth, and “All Out Sports” will have soccer equipment and supplies available for purchase.
