As most of you already know, or have found out, it takes time and effort to be successful in any business. There is no such thing as a ‘get rich quick’ opportunity that you buy into and, hey presto, I’m really rich now. So why are 97% of entrepreneurs unsuccessful with home-based businesses?
Well, as simple as it may seem, the key is found in this formula for success, Step 1 - Education, Step 2 - Action, Step 3 - More Education. For ease of explaining the ‘why’ aspect, I am going to use Joe as an example. Joe has just bought a home-based business opportunity. Now Joe is excited and learns as much as he can about setting up his business to run smoothly, and then learns all that he can about marketing his business. So effectively Joe has just completed step one of the formula. Now he comes to step two, action. Let’s assume that Joe has taken the action to set up his business and is now ready to advertise. Joe starts placing a few ads here and there and then sits back and waits for the money to start coming in, and he learns very quickly that not much money is coming in. So what does he do? GIVE UP!
That is the key to why 97% of entrepreneurs are unsuccessful in home-based businesses. Remember this, ACTION GETS RESULTS! You cannot expect a business to succeed if you are not willing to put in the time and effort to take action. The problem is that people let their emotions control them, particularly fear, “What if it doesn’t work?”, “What if I keep on Failing?”, “What if I lose all my money?”, and this leads to the easy option out, ‘I’ll just GIVE UP!’
