United States of America (Press Release) April 5, 2008 --
Linkin Park's annual Projekt Revolution tour this summer will feature Chris Cornell, The Bravery and Ashes Divide.
This is the fifth year for the concert tour called Projekt Revolution. The tour began in 2001 and had a two year hiatus following the 2004 version of the event.
Projekt Revolution, which kicks off July 16, 2008 the Tweeter Center in suburban Boston, will also sport a second stage, called the Revolution Stage, that will feature metal-rockers Atreyu and 10 Years who will join Hawthorne Heights and Armor For Sleep who are emo-rockers.
"We started Projekt Revolution six years ago and have been lucky to have toured with some great bands," said Linkin Park co-frontman Chester Bennington in a press statement. "This year, however, might just be the best lineup yet. We're looking forward to taking this show on the road and bringing great music to the masses."
Please note that one dollar from every ticket sold to Projekt Revolution will be given to the Music for Relief charity to support disaster relief and reduce global warming. Linkin Park, a very humble band, took a break from its tour in February and traveled to New Orleans to help build homes with Habitat For Humanity for families who were affected by Hurricane Katrina.
