CityArts Features Show by Local Two Year Old
During March’s Final Friday Gallery Crawl CityArts will be hosting a fundraiser to benefit Chance Armstrong, a local two-year-old painter. The Meet the Artist reception will take place March 28 in the Second Floor Boardroom Gallery from 6-10p.m. Chance’s artwork will be for sale at the event. There will be raffles for special works of art and a performance by local musician, Nikki Moddelmog. All proceeds from the event will help Chance’s family raise money to pay for Dolphin Assisted Therapy.
"We are touched by the support and generosity that this community has shown us. Sometimes it takes a hard situation to pull a community together for a good cause. We are truly thankful that the community is coming together in support of Chance." Lainie Armstrong, Chance’s mother.
Chance was born weighing only one pound and fifteen ounces; he spent the first three months of his life in the neonatal intensive care unit. He is dealing with significant developmental delays as a result of his premature birth. For more information on Chance Armstrong and his artwork, please visit his website www.loveofchance.com.
