LOCAL BUSINESS FEATURED ON TOP WEBSITE FOR SMALL BUSINESS
MANSFIELD, TX -- Caryn Fitzgerald's business Gratitude For Kids has been selected as a featured Small Business Profile on Business Owners Idea Cafe, a top-rated small business website, for its outstanding business story.
Out of the thousands of businesses that visit the IdeaCafe.com, few are selected for a Business Profile Spotlight. Profile submissions are judged on the quality of the owner's personal business insights; advice and tips for others starting a business; and unique business tales.
Fitzgerald started the business in 2007 because her daughter wanted gratitude workbooks like she and her husband were using. The stores did not offer them. Her then 6-year old daughter said "that's okay Mommy, we'll just make our own." And the business was started!
What Gratitude for Kids does is share products created by Fitzgerald's 7-year-old daughter, Sami. According to Ms. Fitzgerald, "We are teaching children about gifting, gratitude and how to change their world by being a better person. We sell, speak and create to make things happen in a more positive light."
Gratitude for Kids' flagship product is the book, "Fish Sticks, Books and Blue Jeans ~ Teaching kids to be thankful for everything (yes, even Fish Sticks) everyday!" It is available from the company's web site at http://www.GratitudeForKids.com.
Gratitude for Kids also offers presentations to groups of all ages and sizes on topics such as:
"The Gift of Gratitude ~ One person CAN make a difference," "Caring ~ Sharing ~ Kindness," "Bringing affirmations to life," and special programs for aspiring authors as well as Individual programs designed upon request.
Gratitude for Kids' web site links to a blog with photos and audios of Sami's appearances with celebrities and community groups, plus gives visitors the opportunity to comment on what Gratitude for Kids is doing and how this relates to their own activities and experiences.
Francie Ward, CEO of Idea Cafe, says Fitzgerald was selected because her story "embodies the essence of independence, hard work and a positive attitude. Her story will inspire and encourage others who come to the site seeking advice on starting and running a business."
Idea Cafe has been using its "Fun Approach to Serious Business" (sm) and popular CyberSchmooz community forum since 1995 to help small businesses get informed, network and thrive. You can view Caryn Fitzgerald's Biz Profile at http://www.businessownersideacafe.com.
