BNI Networking group in Northern New Jersey Gets New Leadership Team

Gene R. Sower, owner of Samson Media, LLC, of Montclair, has been named president of the Premier chapter of BNI as of April 1. Sower, a resident of Montclair, has been a member of the business referral organization since 2006 and most recently served as a member of the membership committee. This BNI chapter has 21 members and meets every Wednesday at the Candlewyck Diner in East Rutherford, from 7:00 to 8:30 A.M.
“To get ahead as a business owner,” explains Sower, “active membership in business networking groups is crucial. Besides networking, BNI offers the added components of business profession exclusivity and mandatory referrals or lead exchange between its members, which has proved very beneficial to me. In an effort to give back to the organization, I am honored to serve as the new BNI chapter president and look forward to a very productive year.”
