FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) April 13, 2008 --
My name is Juliette Kimoto and I was recently crowned Mrs. Nevada united States 2006. I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Kyle Kimoto, for 12 years and we have six beautiful children together. I have lived in Las Vegas my whole life. My family has been here since the 1930's. They came here during the construction of the Hoover Dam and have been here ever since then. My parents Sharon and Douglas Rather have resided in Las Vegas for 65 years. My husband’s parents are Arla and Reid Kimoto and are also long time residents of Las Vegas. My husband and I both attended Southern Utah University in Cedar city, Utah. That is where I earned my degree in Elementary Education. We now are raising our family in Las Vegas and are members of the Monte Cristo Ward.

It has been such a wonderful experience to be Mrs. Nevada. My busy life has already become even busier just in the past few weeks of having the title. Although being Mrs. Nevada is fun there is also much work to do. There is so much need in our community and state that I know this job will keep me busy all year long. I am very grateful to my supportive husband and family that are willing to make this work for me.
During the year I will have many opportunities to serve in the community. I represent all married women in the state. I will stand for women and be a voice for them. I will have many public speaking engagements and choose some of my favorite charities to work with.
Entering this contest was the first milestone for me. I am so glad

that I did. The experience was life changing. It was so fun to meet other women who are in the same phase of life as I am. I was only with these women for a day and a half but I did create a bond with them. Thought he journey of preparing for the competition I was able to revaluate my values, goals, and opinions on various issues. I would encourage any women to get involved with this pageant. Just by entering you win! I know that I have much to offer the women of this state, as do all women in this wonderful church! I am so grateful to have the true gospel in my life and in my children’s’ lives. How blessed are we?
