United States of America (Press Release) April 14, 2008 --
Williamsville, New York, April 14 2008
As Vice President of Business Development, Mr. Goldsmith will be responsible for setting up and managing a national sales organization to market Info-Surge’ online patient education programs to Plastic, Aesthetic, Bariatric physicians, physician practices and hospitals throughout the country.
Mr. Goldsmith is a seasoned sales professional with more than thirty years of experience in sales to physicians, physician groups and hospitals. Mr. Goldsmith’s diverse experience includes representing Howmedica, a manufacturer of implantable orthopedic devices and Intermedics Inc., a manufacturer of implantable cardiac pacemakers, where he achieved a 90% market penetration for their products.
In 1990 Mr. Goldsmith formed Goldline Medical Associates to facilitate the creation of a sales organization for the many "hi tech" medical products he had been representing and distributing. Since its creation and under Goldsmith’s leadership, Goldline Medical Associates has been a premier performer in sales and marketing for organizations such as Intermedics, Inc., St. Jude Medical, Arrhythmia Research Technology, Prucka Engineering and EP Medical Systems, Inc.
Mr. Goldsmith is an active member of his community and has served as President of his local Chamber of Commerce and board member of his Rotary Club. Additionally, he has served as Chairman of the Board of the American Heart Association, South Bay Division, and President of the Harbor UCLA Collegium.
Commenting on his new position, Mr. Goldsmith stated, "I am extremely excited at the opportunity to join Info-Surge. Having worked with physicians my entire career I know the frustrations many of them experience due to the time constraints associated with properly education of their patients. Not only is it important from a patient care perspective but it is a crucial tool in managing exposure to the risk of frivolous law suits. In surveying the competition, it is apparent Info-Surge offers a technology solution that other educational companies just don't have. Selling a service that helps doctors save money, manage their risk and do a better job of web marketing combined with this kind of leading edge technology into a $60 million market, with a strong competitive advantage, is clearly a salesman's dream."
Commenting on Mr. Goldsmith, Eran Kabakov, CEO of Info-Surge stated, “Our strategy for increasing our market penetration relies on sales growth through both organic means and strategic relationships with companies that have an existing presence in the same market arena. Now, under Larry’s leadership we intend to make our presence known on a national basis, and fully expect our organic growth over the coming months to outstrip what we have achieved historically.”
About Info-Surge:
